I feel sorry for the production manager. Crew change day....4 of the 8 I have never seen before. Appearently, one of the ones that wasn't new this change got escorted out to a police cruiser right after break.

Took 3 titles to the dmv today. State dinged me 35 bucks EACH for late title transfer...used to be $10 each in 2016. Walked out paying $135. Last year would have been $75.

Had my sales tax exemption documents too...she ended up adding that to the total. First total was like 230...I was like WTF is really going on...

And my basement is still leaking...

Took the Jeep up to the BMV today had to have them verify the vin sense I bought it in Indiana. Pain in the butt got to jump through that hoop before I can go get the title done. Wrenching on it this it this weekend get the brakeline fix and do some Preventive maintenance to it and a tune up. Anyone know who still makes cut and fold bumpers by chance?

Local guy has a 06 WK Limited. Its slipping in 1st gear and he does not have the $ to fix it. Has @190K on it with the 5.7 Hemi and he is wanting $2900. I found a transmission for $450. Is this worth the effort or is it a shitbox in disguise? I know nothing of these rigs, but it is nice as far as body/paint and good clean leather interior etc. I did see at a quick glance that the only bolt on lift that's readily accessible is a @2.5" spacer kit.....

They are comfy and have a lot of power . I like the 5.7 more than the 4.7 (which I thought they still had in 06) Ive seen them for sale a lot for $1500 with bad trannies $2900 seems a little high to me but I'm a cheap ass...
 
I've seen a handful at a range of prices, but I really don't need the project. Case is wanting us to take on another father/son build project so I was just tossing around the idea. It may be a Jeep build, but we are toying with a 67-72 C20 4x4 build with a 12V Cummins. All mechanical, the easy button!

I need to see if the sale of the farm goes through before I get too deep into any project. If the buyer we have lined up cant get the remaining financing, we have decided to keep it another year and reanalyze if we want to sell it then. I have contract cattle in limbo waiting on this guy.......and when you are dealing with the gov programs for the lending, it takes forever. I hope he is using a local bank and not a gov program.
