Important

Oops, I guess I should have read the rest of the other post. You and Kim are definately in my thoughts and prayers as well. I bet it's hard to rest when you have other kids at home too.

Congrats Howey and Jenny

Us old guys say....kids are like a million dollars. I wouldn't sell my kid for a million ,but you couldn't give me a million to have another.

I would like to add my congrats and thoughts to Howie and IllianaXJ too ... having kids is a very intense time ... even for fathers. You guys hang in there and support you wives.

Thanks guys, we appreciate it. Today was better, Kim stayed home from work and rested. She's been having Braxton-Hicks (sp?) contractions for a few weeks now, but nothing as hard or close together as last night. Caitlyn was delivered a week early, and Liberty was 4 weeks early, so it's not a total shock, but it is still way too early for this one.

Good luck :)

Melissa had gestational diabetes and hit the doctor's office once a week for 3 months plus a stress test and fluid check twice a week.

Pretosin????

She did have pitocin the first time, but some other drug the second.

Sounds like you need to stop getting her pregnant or you'll never drive anywhere or get the driveway clear.

my wife had a "don't touch me" pregnancy.

We had one of those too. Fortunately, that wasn't the case for the 2nd go-round.:D

Women have it easy. We actually have to pay for this chit.

Just found out I now get to take a 3-day trip to Atlanta. Time for another road trip. Hopefully this time I will not be in a ford ranger.

Believe it or not, my insurance covers pregnancy 100%. The whole 9 months didn't cost me a dime. It's after we left the hospital that it started costing me.

Luckily for me and my family, my employer (see my profile if curious) offers outstanding insurance and my wife is a teacher, so she has pretty good insurance to boot. She had a horrible delivery experience with an emergency surgery in the middle of it and I really thought we would have around 100K in bills...nope, insuance paid all of it except for $148!!!!! I wont get rich working for "The Man", but the benefits are well worth it! :D

Our crappy insurance covers 80% of the delivery. Each doc visit has a $20 copay, each hospital visit, $75. It adds up quick.

You are all girly men........

Try opening not one but two hospital bills for 276k.......
And doctor bills for 50k......
And the wife's hospital bill for 80k
Good thing I pay so damn much for insurance every week.
