eh....there's less than 2000 people without power now....that's not too bad.....they were expecting a lot worse last night before i left work

Dang, even here in the sticks we have power. But seeing how Chicago is supposed to get hammered with ice, jobsites are shutting down. So customers are closing and its was obscenely slow. They sent us home ahead of the ice. The foot of water in the lot today was lots of fun to deal with.

I ordered tires today. Bridgestone Dueler M/t's, 32X11.50X15. My cost $120 a tire.

by the way he dropped it off cause the trailer lights did't work, needed a converter

Just curious that's all. I didn't know if you were associated with DEI or just happend to "fix the trailer lights". I would have been surprised if DEI had a show crew in Iowa.

Still pretty cool none the less!

yep, the guy driving said if the car was in the way to fix the wiring , we could start it up & back it out. I was tempted. I'm a huge J.R. fan so that was a huge perk of the job. Once in a lifetime opportunty.

well.....i got a job offer in Utah today....

unfortunately, the money is a little low and the benefits aren't that great...

guess i will keep looking

Moving out there would be the first step. Just get a couple wives once you are out there and make them work then you can wheel/wrench all day long.
