has anyone ever attempted to swap 241 internals from a 241c into an 231j? it appears that it might work depending on the year and you can use the input from the 231. it also looks like you could build a doubler out of it as well...but im not really convinced that i need a doubler for my purposes. the low range is the same ratio as the xj...it would really just be upgrading the chain and it has a 6 gear planetary. novak makes an adapter, but mine is a passenger drop case...so swapping internals may be easier since i was going to refresh a 231 for the jeep anyway

Well the excursion and the Jeep are about as ready as they are gonna be for WF. Just need to put a receiver tube in the back of trailer and do a once over on camper and we should be good to go.

Yea we are gonna try it. Figure sleeping in the pop up will be a little better than the back of the excursion since we will be down there for a couple days

the in flight wifi on southwest has proven to be awful (1st world problem...i know). trying to entertain myself sandwiched into a small plane seat for a 4 hour trip. looks like we have a tail wind...top speed out here was about 485. top speed this trip so far is 640 mph. at least their little flight tracker thingy is working

On a side note eat icee brand popsicles. Tastes exactly the same going up as it does going down. If I know im going to puke ill eat as many as I can. Makes it tolerable
