Just found out today that a friend who is several years younger than me has breast cancer. I know its fairly treatable and it can happen to anyone but it still blows. My wife is a cancer survivor and its always one of my biggest fears that it will come back too soon someday. F-cancer

We traded out midsize SxS in on a new fullsize 15 model a few weeks back, but it too had to get some Smash Hole lovin'

I had to fab these brackets bc these lights did not have any when I picked them up off Chetta

Here is the finished installed product. It makes a world of difference, and even with this new rig having high and low beams, it still is a vast improvement.

oh...and if you really want to know how to piss off your significant other, bid on one of these.......

If for some crazy way I win the bid, it will be getting a flatbed and the wheel base shortened 18-24", regular front bumper a set of Alcoa's and will be a pulling rig. Ideally t would fit a SxS and the boys 4 wheeler n dirt bike on the bed and we could pull the camper as well. It would be an easy and affordable way to haul everything and not have 2 vehicles and trailers going to all the closer places we camp and ride ATV's. probably a pipe dream on getting it as cheap as I am hoping, but we will see!

That is awesome. I've always thought one with a flatbed big enough to put a jeep on would be sweet. And then haul a camper behind it.

I've always wanted one of these as a project, but either time or $ did not work out. Now if this one goes for what I think it will, it will be an affordable project. Do I really need it, no. Do I want it bc it is neat, yes. But I do have the C10 needing finished, a shed that needs work, a pump house that needs rebuilt, hundreds of acres that need prepared for planting...the list goes on and on....but hey, you cant live forever!

I wouldn't bother shortening the wheelbase.

that would cut a significant amount of work out of the project. Slap a flatbed on it and roll.

turning radius won't be as bad as you think. MDT front axles turn way sharper than pickups.

My IH 4700 grain truck (Sean and I will refer to it as the truss killer) was shortened and it was only like $300 and that included the driveshaft getting corrected n balanced. My helper is good n very affordable. He may be interested in the service box off of it and the winch bumper, so it would possibly be a straight trade for the labor n work. I have to measure it out to see about where the GN plate would be mounted in relation to the back of the truck and axle for the trailers we have. If it is a shorter frame under the service body, then great!
