Menard's 11% is a joke. They raise their prices so even at "11%"" off you still pay more than you would normally. Besides 85% or what Menard's sells is junk. I at one time was my local store's single buyer, now I hardly step foot in there. They have cheapens their stuff up so much that I can no longer install most of it in a customer's home.

Good morning jeep fans!

you mean Walmart 2? thats what i call Menards.
Menards is about 3 blocks from my house so i end up there pretty often.

Who's got the hookup on 4ft T8 fixtures? I have about 40 bulbs that need to get used.

I bought 40 fixtures at Home Depot when the one down the street from me was going out of business.

All trailer tail light converters appear to be junk, so I built a 3-2 converter out of 3 relays, only to discover that one was a "dual output" 87/87 relay and not an 87/87a like a normal SPDT one. Seems dangerous to make a relay with the exact same pinout but it works differently.

What do I have to tell the parts guy at AZ to get a freaking standard 5-pin SPDT relay? I went in for one last night and they gave me some "transmission control relay" which sure enough, was SPDT, but it cost about $15... I can't believe they don't have "universal" ones on the shelf, but I could only find SPST ones.

Hell of a deal!

Menards has 2 bulb pull chain plug in for $17.98 each, non pull chain hard wire for $19.98. I have about 20 15amp receptacles so I think I'm going to go with the plug in for ease of taking them with me in the future if need be.

tell them you want a relay for a 1990 cherokee.

they're 5 pin with 87a contacts. I always grab them at the pull a part, cause they're like a buck, if they even bother to charge me.

We added receptacles in my ceiling and split them on three different light switches so that all of my fixtures are plugged in and can be moved, modified, or taken down in the future.

You'll wonder why you never did it sooner other than the whole "empty wallet on the 30" part.

Well, i built my radio
aaaaaaaaannnnnnnd nothing.
damn it. must of screwed something up. guess it is time to practice all trouble shooting skills i have been taught.

before doing anything, all i know right now is, i get static both AM and FM, faint voice for a second, and all of that is only through the head phones. nothing through the speaker at all.
time for some readings and measurements after work.

How'd you wire it up? I'm interested.

I always go to mid 90s Buicks at the you pull and pull all the weather pack relays off them. They are sealed and come with pigtails. They have the fuse and relay centers up on the cowl when you pop the hoods.
I made my headlamp relays harness for my S10 with them. The jeep is next on the list.

I got some of the sockets that screw into light sockets with the integrated receptacles, that way mine work with the switch.

Nice Denali. Check the trans, some of those came with a 4L80e, which is a 3/4 ton trans.

If all goes well I will be in Decatur, IN Monday picking up a new tow rig myself.

sounds like your problem is in the amp side, not the receiver side.

With all this rain, going to be a muddy day tomorrow at Badlands. For anyone going, what time do you plan on getting there?
