Re: Re: Important

Only the uppers are triangulated, you could do the same thing with my three link brackets.
Lol...I have no intention of buying it, I guess I was just surprised it hasn't been done before. I have no intention of doing a rear four link anytime soon...it would be a lot easier to four link the wj. Next on my list is the three link for the xj after I get through busy season

One of my students that graduated last spring bought a supercharged Grand Prix with a bad transmission. I'm currently building him a new one utilizing a salvage trans and the parts he brings me . He's paying me in 7.3 glowplugs, and rebuild kits for the turbo, HPOP and fuel bowl...

It is the same. They want over 1000 dollars for it at the truck salvage yard. I am looking for something sitting behind a farmer's barn to get cheap

I did have a line on one for $400. i can see if he still has it?

Do you do that work in the shop at the school you teach at?

Nope, I got my little workshop in my basement. He delivered the junkyards trans and parts and I got my workbench covered in 4t65E right now.

Now on the other hand, once its done he's probably going to drop the car and the trans off at school and have the students swap em out, which I don't have a problem with as we're looking for another 'big job'.

We have about 4 billion of those buses around here that farmers use to haul melons and pumpkins out of the fields. I will keep an eye out for you.

Been on the west coast all week bouncing around from job to job. Had some pretty awesome views in Oregon today. Working in a bucket truck does have some advantages:

Had some time to stop and visit Bonneville Dam on my way back to Portland this evening:

Fly home tomorrow, work in the office Friday, and then most likely fly back out to CA for weekend work.
