My kid didn't have school today, but it was a predetermined day off. they have a snow make up day Monday presidents day, they were supposed to be off. I am not sure why the couldn't do the snow make up day today instead of presidents day, they have no reason for being off. they are calling it winter break WTF winter break was the Christmas time break. They could have made a day up on MLK's birth day too but that would be racist. by the time that rolled around the kids already had five or six snow days.
mean while every time it snows the parents my wife knows from school post all over Facebook how happy they are that its a snow day, then bitch about how long into the summer the kids are in school. there was a day 18" of snow dropped on us and they didn't call off school. my kid and four others in his class showed up.

We have had two school closings for weather since my kids started going to school. Both of them were for east canyon winds. Sustained winds of 100mph or more beats 3" of snow any day of the week.
 
And I am not even in the running this month.....:)

Is an 8.25 rear axle housing worth anything in the resale market? Got one we pulled out of the Jeep but am gonna strip it down to have spare parts so it will just be the housing left over. Would I even get anything out of it for scrap?
