Important

Yeah he does, that is what has me thinking. I just honestly dont want to drive an XJ 10-11 hours home alone in case of problems. Considering alternatives right now to getting it part way home and I could meet someone with my trailer to drag it the rest of the way. Going to discuss it with Camille tonight and see what we may be able to come up with.

Where are you located? I'm on my app and can't see.

Anybody know about rebar? My SgtMaj asked me to fab a rack for his fire pit in the backyard and gave me a bunch of rebar to weld together. Is it just mild steel?

Depends on the grade/quality of rebar. But if its just bar he picked up from Home Depot or the like, its the cheapest, nastiest, biggest pile of crap the Indonesians could shove into the kettle.

There are other rebars that have specific make-ups.

We drove a blue mustang like that wrecked one on our honeymoon as a rental.

It was ok for four days.

Roush is bolt on fender skirts and decals. A shelby isn't much better, other than the warranty and the extra horsepower.

They're all heavy pigs and handle like crap.

Most rebar is made from scraps of steel left over, melted down and formed. It will weld just like mild steel and is easy to work with.

The Shelby's bring some serious power upgrades..... I'd sure like to have a super snake, 800 hp on pump gas.

They may all be big and handle like crap but the go pedal still makes me smile
