thi is the rig I am trying to work a deal on. If it falls through I am interested in dudeinanXJ's rig that he just posted....trying to keep it cheap bc we all know what my stuff looks like in time....just need a cheap winter beater and something that would be WF worthy of hauling out for mild stuff.

Bought stock manifolds for the 5.4 this morning, also picked up SS cap head bolts and Nord-Lock washers to bolt them onto the motor. This thing is almost back together....

ironically they both had the same, but I do like them. I like white vehicles w/ dark wheels for some reason...but I also like black rigs too....toss up. I will be in KC tonight so I will be close enough to look at it tomorrow if the guy will meet up. I better have some $ in hand if I plan on low balling him :D

I hear ya, he sent a pic of the interior to me, looks goodfor a 97. Does not appear to have any major rust issues but awaiting more pics. I just want someting very mild and would throw a locker in the back and just roll with it.

The KC guy is being flakey, he wants to sell parts off it, then he dosent, then said the wheels are sold, then it is not...now it is $3K all or nothing....just not sure I want to deal with that, and he is now saying that there may possibly be some items that need replaced in the future....dudes is looking much more tempting now, but the distance is a killer for me...10 hours or more out there. who wants to deliver for me?????
