Important

If anyone comes across a 78-79 f250 hp44 keep me in mind. There were a handful of the on CL before Harlan an now the only two I see are $500 or $1000 with rear D60.

I think I'm going to get one and narrow it to wide track waggy width with RCVs and a full case locker and high steer for the niner.
Holy crap. I sold one (albeit a rusty one, needed caliper brackets and the balljoint nuts were gonna be an angle grinder job) for 250 bucks a while ago. And I got it with the rear 60 it was paired with for 250 originally.

Coming to Rocktoberfest? If you do, you'll be driving by my house basically, I can keep an eye out on the forums/craigslist and grab a set of axles for you anytime.

Hell, I've got a balljoint ford 60 I can't sell to save my life right now. I have it up for 200 if it sells local or 1k if I bring it to Moab for the 30th, which would cover most of my gas for the trip.

Axles are CHEAP up here.

It would be hard to get a 60 that narrow and keep my rear axle. Plus I'm only running 35s with no plans on going bigger so ground clearance is an issue with a 60 too. I'm a firm believer in go 60 or go home but I just don't think it will work for me here. 5x5.5 D60 that's 62-63" wms to wms is what I would need. And it would have to be able to use 15" wheel.

Haha. Yeah a local guy had one with 4.56 already in it and we were both going back and forth on it but decided to wait to see what Harlan and my niner would do to the HP30.

Yea IF you stay with 35s and that power a 44 would probably be perfect.

If there were a train that could bring that to MI I would be very interested in it for my truck. That's a direct bolt in.

We'll see, if no one from the IC jumps on it by tonight it is going to a friend locally for 200 bucks just so it is out of my way.

SO I got a couple pics from the AutoX:

White lightnin' doing work!

Cobra kit car with new ford Coyote motor and M3 suspension and brakes.

And last but not least a beautiful 1972 Detomaso Pantera, how often do you see these monsters!
