Important

I have noticed that rough country hasn't had all the negative feedback on their control arms like they used to. I know their older arms had crappy rubber bushings in them that wore out really quick.

They have fixed their flex joint issues.
I got an updated set. Still need to adjust them after every trip.

At least they don't squeak like a sonofbitch like the ballsack ones. No matter how much grease is in there and how tight or loose they are. They push the grease out and start squeaking

Where would you guys recommend i get some replacement floor pans from? Need to replace the front driver floor pan in suzi's jeep but don't want to buy just some cheap junk floor pan.

The Raybuck ones are probably the best out there, fit and finish wise. I had a set but ended up selling them on.

IIRC they are 16 gauge, so you can weld into them without a fear in the world.

Stressful job and working a rotating shift without many weekends off makes the vacation very much worth it.

I put in for this time off in January as I can't take just weekends off in June/July/August so I have to mark blocks of time to get weekends off that I want.

That's one thing I like about our rotation. Take a 'week' of vacation (4 days) and I get 12 days off in a row.

When I put pans in the baby jeep, I bought them off of ebay I think. I don't remember the company but I remember doing some research and found them quite affordable and I think that they were 16 gauge. They did not fit perfect and I had to do some hammering to get them molded to fit, but they were the basic design of the floor pans.

Dude, it sucks tho. So bad, that I have promised NEVER to buy another XJ that needs floor pans unless its something I'm going to flip and not keep.

Way too much work.

Heck all this talk about the floors is making me not want to do them. Kinda have to tho. The driver side floor pan in suzi's jeep is mainly gone. All you see from the bottom is carpet. She has been wanting it fixed cuz her feet keep getting hit from the stones the tires throw. Guess im just gonna have to set aside a weekend with some new floor pans and a cooler of cold ones and go to town on it.

I got my replacements when they first came out with the new style. I also had to shim them a bit, maybe I got a dud..

We are 4 on, 2 off.

16 days off = 26 days off

I get 24 days of vacation this year plus 9 personal days. Our holidays are floating so working them gets you a day to take off later (unless the holiday falls on your day off, then you get it to take later too). We have 9 of those.

Plus any ot you get is time to take off later and paid at 1.5 times if you get ot on a 'long' week. They are talking about changing this to pay...I'd rather have the time off.

I usually take 40-50 days off in a year.

I'm thinking about the Rough Country long arm kit for my LJ when the time comes.

mac 'not this year tho' gyvr

They are metric...

Its been a while since I replaced with standard size...

4 on, 4 off. I get 10 days of vacation a year, overtime = comp time @ 1.5x. I like having the extra days to take off, it's not always easy to use them though.
