Important

There are talks at work of mandatory Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week. No, I didn't want to spend time with family...

Saturday is my only day off for the next two weeks. Jeep money.

That is the plus side of having to work this weekend. Friday and Sunday are double time plus holiday pay! :D

I get paid the same wether it be 40 or 60 hours in a week, which is why my leads work ot, I only work over 45 when they are on vacation.

im at over 260 hours in 18 days...i get a day off in 2 weeks :(

i will clear about $14000 in invoices in those 4 weeks...but holy crap its a lot harder then it used to be. its a good thing i usually like what i do ;) in 2 weeks i get to have a "normal" work schedule for the first time in 6 years though. its going to be really weird. i'm sure i will pick up extra work to do on my days off at times, but im really looking forward to having 2 days off a week if i want them. i used to spend my days off worrying about my next gig.

work 8, sleep an hour, work 8, sleep 3 hours, work 8, sleep 4 hours, work 8, sleep an hour, work 8, sleep 4 hours, work 5, sleep 3 hours, work 8, then its the weekend...

I lost 8 this morning because school was cancelled.

We are making a dent in some bills and trying to save some $$ for harlan and moab.

Anybody use WJ control arms on a 3" lift? I forgot how crappy the wife's XJ rides, putting a new set of JK shocks in this weekend. I have seen something on the WJ arms before but don't remember.

They are fully boxed and are helpful for clearing wider tires on stock wheels.

He has some good info on control arm lengths at the bottom of the page. I just measured the L.C.A. on my WJ and got a measurement of 15.75" middle of bolt to middle of bolt. I believe that's the same length as an XJ arm.

The main reason behind using a WJ arm on an XJ is the arm does a little jog in the middle away from the tires. So wider/larger tires will clear the arm when turning lock to lock. It is like Aaron said, boxed too.

racecar has WJ arms. THey are tits for ride. it is factory upcountry with 1" spacer. No rubbing with stock wheels and 30" tall metric tires.

Are they any longer?
no

One more 3" lift question. Is drilling a hole a little farther over on the axle side t bar mount a bad idea?

K "doing the stuff I should've done on my junk at 3 " man

as long as you use the right drill bit. It be metric. Must not have slop or it will egg the hole over time and you'll have to replace the axle side mount.

edit:
You'll have to trim the WJ arm bushings to fit in the control arm mounts. They are wide.
Sawzall, and put them outside in the cold so the rubber gets hard. Easier to cut.

Damn, i have been working since i walked in today. this hasn't happened in years...
