Important

I'm working at school... Trying to get things setup for my advanced auto classes, they will be removing the engine and transmission in 2-3 vehicles and then putting them back in. That's all they will do for the trimester, which has me thinking, Bec wants her own jeep for the trail... I think I want to put one together in the shop for her... Just need to find one...

Just found this... I might actually go and look at it this week...

Please take my advice from experience.... Your jeep will always take a backseat to hers. I'm finally getting to work on my own jeep after almost 3 years maintaining hers

You can order empire Offroad shirts for a limited time on our Facebook. If you don't have one or aren't out friend in fb you can also pm Sean, Justin, or myself.

long night last night...8am-1am on sat, 8am-2am yesterday and back to a different show 5:30 am-1am today. i got a short nap this morning, but i'll be glad when these 3 weeks are over and i can settle into my real schedule. at least my jeep was loud enough to keep me awake for my hour commute this morning.

Building a wall around my trailer parking this weekend.

Picked up 50 railroad ties to get something accomplished today...

Well, since I got the Jeep more or less where I want it, that's just fine... The only other thing my jeep would really need is a winch and a frt axle when the d30 finally dies...

Hers will prob be more DD-able... 3in with 33s... I'm the crazy one in this operation...

would you choose a E150 or Expedition for a family/jeep hauler that the wife would drive?

so if you build wall there now you can build a ramp and complete turn 3 again.

neither

the expy will not last as a jeep hauler, my boss is pulling on borrowed time with his. its a lot of ass for the 1/2 ton ford trans to pull around and the coil sprung rear doesnt like a lot of weight, most have lighter duty rear axles.

my soon to be wifey is driving my 3/4 ton suburban daily, she loves it. with a 6.0 and not an 8.1 it would get decent mileage but we live 4 miles from her job and she likes the power, so shes happy to feed the 8.1. i have less than 10k in it, and it was worth every penny.

i sound like an ass (often) but you'll have less maintenance and wear if you buy 3/4 ton. 2 years of hauling and 2 transmissions later i learned my lesson the hard way

just my opinion from experience, i know everyone has one ;)

diesel E350 or nothing!

i had a long talk with her the other day. Since i have my own jeep now i told her she's responsible for hers. I'll do the skill stuff, Setting gears tube bending etc, but she is going to learn how to fix it, buy shit, and build shit for it.

shes rebuilding the front axle once the gears are set.....she knows this. She doesnt know shes building a traction bar for it yet :D

or buy my F2fiddy diesel...but it already has a potential buyer on hold with $1000 holding money for this weekend to purchase....

Cheese "adding a Dodge ton'r to the fleet again...last one rolled!" Man"

In a magic world everything is powered by diesel and everyone gets what they want.

In the real world, unless you need the diesel advantages, you end up paying alot of extra cash to be able to say.. Look at me.. I got a diesel.
