Important

most municipalities will give (sell) you a second meter for irrigation purposes, you're still paying for the water but you're not paying for the disposal
News to me. Then again, this is the first time I've lived in something other than an apartment within a municipality. Doesn't surprise me, though.

I hate grass, wish my whole front yard was concrete. The grass was brown a couple of weeks ago, we have finally got some rain. I mowed a week ago, first time since before memorial day...I can deal with that...the weeds were another story tho...

mac 'only irrigation is the pee hole' gyvr

Our grass is green, the rest of the court is brown.

In ground sprinklers FTW.

Rev
The "Track People" have the nicest yard. Hmmm, must be a real spur in their craw. :D

I would rather have a well dug for irrigation if I was to have irrigation. I am having a cook out for my small group at church next month and I may water an area where I want to play Jarts (yes, my Grandma still has a Jarts set in the garage from when she lived there).

Found this on a gun forum that I am a new member of, which is why it is out dated.

Assailant suffers injuries from 'fall'
Special to The Police News

May 20, 2011
AUGUSTA, GA - Orville Smith, a store manager for Best Buy in Augusta, Ga. told police he observed a customer, later identified as Tyrone Jackson of Augusta, on surveilance cameras putting a laptop computer under his jacket. When confronted the man became irate, knocked down an employee, drew a knife and ran for the door.

Outside on the sidealk were four Marines collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program. Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of them, Cpt. Phillip Duggan, in the back; the injury did not appear to be severe.

After police and an ambulance arrived at the scene, Cpt. Duggan was taken for treatment.

"The subject was also transported to the local hospital with two broken arms, a broken ankle, a broken leg, several missing teeth, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions, assorted lacerations, a broken nose and a broken jaw ..... injuries he sustained when he slipped and fell off the curb after stabbing the Marine," according to a police report.

grr...now the day gets even better...yes nothing got stolen this morning, but now the main line to the sewer backed up into the basement while doing laundry. its only clean water, but what a frickin mess. then to make matters worse, the vacuum and the carpet steamer i own gave out while cleaning it up. going to go work out now and punch the crap out of a punching bag for an hour. should feel good today

the handle on my faucet broke on the kitchen sink...

thankfully it was a 5 dollar part...

those who are smarter than me electrically (ken stein) my electric motor just shut off in my steamer while cleaning the carpets up...its only 2 years old and hasnt been used much. i tore it apart and everything looks clean on the inside. there are 2 spring loaded contacts that are both making connection...all the brushes are making good contact. it did feel a little hot. i bypassed the switch and hardwired the hot directly to the motor...nothing. any chance there is some sort of overheat protection or is there any way to see if its dead. all the copper seems fine, no broken coil wires. it looks super clean, and when i turn it by hand, there is just nice light contact on the inside, no scraping, noise or dead spots.

this is pretty much exactly what my motor is...its a hoover steam vac. help! this stupid thing was expensive when we got it, but its out of warranty and we've only used it a few times

So the "Detroit" in my 8.8 is actually a truetrac, this whole time I thought it was a detroit locker, when It was sold to me he said it was a locker.......damn it. Don't think I was purposely lied to. I should have opened it up a long time ago to check.

Had to email engineering today because I didn't know the damage limitations on the cyclic socket to cyclic gimbal lower mount.

13 years on the airplane, always something new.

there's usually a thermal fuse buried in there somewhere. It'll look like the usual ones, either a little metal can with two leads, or a little round plastic housing with two 1/4" quickdisconnects, or a ~3/16 diameter metal tube with a wire on one end and a conical plastic nose on the other with a wire coming out of that too. The color of the plastic tells you the temp rating iirc, some have it stamped on the side. The quickdisconnect ones all have it printed on the side and the metal cans I forget... some of them may be jammed up between the windings on the stator. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit of time with a multimeter and your thinking cap and see if you can figure out which wires do what on the stator and rotor / brushes, then the problem may become clear.
