I was mowing off some CRP land for Grandma yesterday and it amazes me how wooly a place can get in just a few years of not mowing or burning. Had damage to the tractor from running over trees and then nuked an outer wing on the Bush Hog but beyond that it really wasa cool day to see all the wildlife. I kicked up 2 coveys of quail, a few pheasants and 13 deer, 2 of which were nice bucks. I have about 400 more acres to finish this week on that particular farm so I am sure I will see plenty more. It is too bad that I can not snap a pic quick enough b/c they wait until you are right on top of them before they make a run for it....surprised I have not ran over any yearlings.

I now own 25% of a Neon. I'll be heading up with my cousin in his dirtymax in a couple weeks to pick the car up. Its in better shape than I thought, has less miles, a rebuilt trans and very little surface rust. I think its gonna be a decent little car. I'll definitely be making a profit when I go to sell it. It needs an alternator and tires so its best just to tow it home.
 
I know a guy that has a set of full widths sitting on a pallet in the barn w/ all bracketery to go with it new in the box....just saying.....:D

LOL. I'm not changing. I've got way too much money into this 44.

Set 60's up, put chair in between, grab beer, sit in chair, make bruuuuummmm bruuummmm sounds while drinking the beer. problem solved.
 
I stopped at a rest stop last night just to check over the trailer, snapped a few pics before I got back on the road.

Looks like I need to possibly add an air assist setup to the rear. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was looking at the Firestone kit, but it looks like it doesnt work with a GN hitch.

i do that sometimes, but my axles are under a frame still :) for me its whiskey though.

got a scary call a little bit ago...the guy that rents the other 2 garage bays that are attached to my shop called and said there was a break in at the storage area where our shops are. i flew over there quickly to say the least. both of our shops are locked well so they didn't get anything inside. they left my boat alone, but got his jet ski trailer...left the jet ski on the ground, but took the trailer. i guess it will be harder to trace than a jet ski. i think that jason (other guy) got lucky. they were pulling tv's and electronics out of campers and rv's. jasons shop is where he keeps his gear for his sound company, so it is full of speakers, mixers and high dollar gear. had they opened the door im sure it would be gone. still scary though...im gonna have to step up my security there i guess. going to the hardware store later to buy some more locks and other protection.
