Important

it looks good on the trailer, and we've seen a lot of pictures of it on the trailer. Time to get it out and take some pictures on the trail in michigan. :D

Where is there a place to go near Aub. Hills? The girlfriend is coming up this weekend and wants to take it out.

my suggestion would be to buy a bigger truck, and give that one to me.

just sayin'

:D

Sounds good to me. I'll take 30k cash for it today.

i do that sometimes, but my axles are under a frame still :) for me its whiskey though.

got a scary call a little bit ago...the guy that rents the other 2 garage bays that are attached to my shop called and said there was a break in at the storage area where our shops are. i flew over there quickly to say the least. both of our shops are locked well so they didn't get anything inside. they left my boat alone, but got his jet ski trailer...left the jet ski on the ground, but took the trailer. i guess it will be harder to trace than a jet ski. i think that jason (other guy) got lucky. they were pulling tv's and electronics out of campers and rv's. jasons shop is where he keeps his gear for his sound company, so it is full of speakers, mixers and high dollar gear. had they opened the door im sure it would be gone. still scary though...im gonna have to step up my security there i guess. going to the hardware store later to buy some more locks and other protection.

You know, it really gets under my skin when people steal things. Low life pieces of excrement. I really want to know what goes into their mind to make them think they have the right to take what isn't theirs. I can't imagine anything that makes sense.

Now, if you're stealing bread, that's another thing.

I'll concede that trying to feed you & yours is a little different than stealing TVs. Still doesn't sit right with me.

It's already been one of those mornings. Found a dead bat in the house this morning, "that's a BIG.... that's NOT a hairball!" Have to figure out just how the damned thing got in. And there's a couple of IT contractors here that I'm about ready to go ballistic on.

just got a call from jason...they found his trailer an the motor cover from his ski boat a few blocks away. my guess is they stole the trailer to drag some stuff out of there (they came through the back fence through a big field. probably had a truck or van waiting there where they offloaded. that building might have security cameras though...hope they catch the idiots

When I was a kid, we lived in an old farm house built in the 20s. Bats weren't common but we encountered them once in a great while. Whenever we came across them, dad would go get the aptly-dubbed "batminton" racket. That was fun stuff.

After my wheels/tires were stolen and all the booze we had in the camper to take to WF came up missing the day before we left, we have stepped up our security. We now have 4 cameras watching our garage area. We can't see if anybody tries to get into a vehicle in front of the house, but we might be able to catch them coming on to the premises. Hope they catch em.

same her...our house was built around 1900...our record for one day (when the cover fell off the old chimney) was 13. the first one was stuck in flypaper and squealing at us when my brother and i came down for breakfast. my brother and i were on a bat catching/whacking spree all day. tennis rackets, frying pans, cookie sheets, brooms...anything that could be swung was a weapon. people who say you cant whack a bat without a tennis racket because of radar just can't swing fast enough.

I've heard that a badminton racquet, a tennis racquet, or a fishing net work pretty well on bats.

What's sort of strange is that I don't know what the darned thing died, it doesn't look like the cats did it in. This house was built in 1992 and seems to be fairly well built. I have to check all of the bathroom vents, the dryer vent and the furnace fresh air vent to make sure that covers & screens are in place. Otherwise, I don't know how the doggoned thing got in.

I once walked in on a fully spread "bat wing". thats not something you want to see

Or the Goat.

A dude I used to live with did that to me all the time. I would come home from work and he'd be standing in the kitchen with his brain in his hand or the goat sticking out. He was ever persistent.

When I took the trip home to Indiana in July, he made the trip up from Cleveland. He may or may not have gotten me once while we were hanging out.

ZOMG!! Hale is online!! How ya been, buddy? House coming along?

Get to go to the eye clinic again today. When 3 people at work ask (what's wrong with your eye), and I go look in the mirror & say oh chit. Prolly gonna be on the Prednisone again, I hate that chit. Fore those of you that don't know me, I have HLAB-27, it's an autoimune thing, kinda the opposite of AIDS. My body tries fighting things that really aren't wrong with me. The side affects are advanced arthritis( hence the reason I have had both hips replaced pre age 40)& eye issues.

Our grass is green, the rest of the court is brown.

In ground sprinklers FTW.

Green grass might be nice, I pretty much refuse to pay city water rates for general irrigation.
