Take 30 mins tops to check torque converter bolts. Mine came loose once and it sounded like a lifter knock but in the low end.

Lost my water pump and serp belt on the ZJ on the way home today. Made it into the driveway and then noticed the coolant hitting the ground. The belt never made a noise as it shredded itself.

I was at the right place at the right time yestreday. Went to our local UPS drop off to ship the tube doors to Wade and noticed that they had a F350 cab n chasis outside their shop. I might add that my UPS drop off is at a local utilities (gas) company. They told me that the truck hit the 10 yr mark and their company policy was that it had to go. I asked the details adn they said they bought it brand new, oil changed every 3500 miles or less and have all documentation to prove it, had new ball joints, TRE's etc less then a year ago as general maintenance, new brakes all the way around it. So that had my attention and what I liked even better was that it was the 7.3 and a 6 speed. They said it was going to be parked out front for sale later. I test drove it and it drove better then my F250 and everything worked great on it including the A/C. I came back form the test drive and they said make an offer and if it was close to what they wanted they would probably take it.....I own it now Going up to Bull Buster Bumpers on Monday for a new flatbed and a front bumper. Thinking I will put my 18's off my F250 on it w/ the M/T's on them and get new wheels and tires for the 250..probably some factory take off alloys w/A/T's for a bit cleaner look and quieter ride. Pics to come next week.

Didn't lose power steering, or the alternator or anything else. There is a still a quarter of the belt on it, and it still turns.
