Important

I wish I was getting cool stuff in the mail.

On the other hand, I worked on the rear suspension last night, by george it flexes now.
And it doesn't feel like your kidneys are going to bleed when you drive it on the street now:)

Oh com'on, don't be such a puzzy.
Great flex > functioning kidneys.

oh no, both problems were because of the fact that the rear wasn't flexing.
It drove like I didn't have springs back there.
Now I have flex and I don't piss blood after a trip.
It's brilliant!

You guys all suck.

I have to try and reassemble the storage area in my basment, and move the more fragile funiture into it this weekend. The restoration should start next week.

Good things that came out of the flood:

I get to buy and install an additional sump pump.
I get to buy and install a water alarm.
I get to have my basement repainted and refloored (After all...it WAS 6 months old)

and the best thing.....

INSIDE the wall.......after the drywall was cut out.....I found my fire extinguisher that had been walled in by an certain drywall crew. :D

let's see.

1. no money
2. no jeep
3. no vacation time from work

i'm sure there are more, but those are the biggest reasons

I think he meant to help with the cage installation. Doesn't Sean live west of you?

Hey Gil, was this your doing?

From my Planetary Society e-newsletter...

2003 UB313, the giant Kuiper belt object whose discovery
shook the entire solar system, now has an official name.
On September 13, 2006, the International Astronomical
Union's working groups on planetary system nomenclature
and small body nomenclature voted almost unanimously to
accept the suggestion of the objects' discoverers and
name it Eris, after the Greek goddess of discord
and strife.

by this, I assume you mean a battery back up pump?
my watchdog battery back up has a pretty green light
that I see each time I do laundry and tells me all is okay.

my battery back up pump is a separate pump and I have it plugged into a separate circuit in the basement.

I am sure you have it all figured out. But, if you need a hand, just let me know.

No...actually I mean a seperate pump on a seperate circuit. I have the generator so battery back-up is not a requirement. Thanks for the offer.....I got a buddy who owns a plumbing company. :D
