Important

well, I got my new (used) ARB front air locker installed and wired and ready to rock and roll. Thank goodness for good friends that helped with the install. :D

My arms have 1,000,000 little burn marks on them,
my feet hurt,
When I close my eyes, I see blue spots.
The cage it's self went fine, so fine that Rev took it apart and we did it a second time, he said it was crooked.
Mounting it to the body, that takes some time.
I mounted the rear to the shackle boxes I made.
I mounted the B pillar hoop to the frame rails, I cut a 4" slot in the floor and used angle iron.
I welded the angle to the frame and the cage to the other angle.
I will run bolts through the floor and sandwich the floor between the angle iron and another piece on the underside.
I only have one side of the B hoop mounted, I am done for today.

I will be here tomorrow afternoon if any one wants to come here me cuss and watch me throw things.....
Sounds like a good day, take some pics when you can.

Good to hear you guys had a good day working on your projects.

I helped my brother with his pickup this AM, then reseated beads on two of my tires (from the Carnagefest Mud) and cleaned up the garage a bit.

By all means Sean, post up some pics. Sounds like you should have it ready for Moab.

OK, I'll bite.
What's across the street?

let's see.
Fixing the heater, cause it's been a bit chilly the past few mornings.
Replacing T-stat, since the overheat in july seems to have it stuck open. I'm pretty sure it's not good when your motor only heats up to 150*
Straightening my steering wheel, adjusting the draglink is uber fun.
might rotate the wife's tires.
that's about my day.

Worked on the lift.

Got one side of the AAL done. Now I have to figure out a way to break loose the damn brake line at the frame mount. Had the shortest spring in the pack snapped in half when I took it apart.

On rear brakes, the long shoe should be the trailing shoe, correct?

At some point one of the P.O.'s had one long shoe as the leading on one side and the trailing shoe on the other side.

The last owner of the Jeep before me, had all his work done at the Stealership cause he was too dumb to do it himself. He was a blacktop guy, so no wonder.
