A week from Friday, I'm going to see Heart and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts at an outdoor venue. I'm pretty sure that everything is just going to be temporary, not even a pavilion. I'll see if I can get some pics of the staging before the show starts.
On a completely unrelated note, Penn & Teller put on a good show on Friday night, very entertaining, well orchestrated and staged. They're master showmen.

but it will put a lot of heat on the guys who have been doing things right for years. people just need to learn how to say "no" and this crap won't keep happening.
Going to see Korn on Wednesday night.

So what is a solution to the exhaust ports not lining up? What is different between the 97 and 2000 exhaust? Thanks for the help!
Earlier motor into later XJ? The exhaust ports are a little different, but it's posted somewhere around here that the later header will cover the 0630 ports. Couple of threads I have bookmarked, might shed some light on things.

A head swap is another option that guarantees things fit, but not handy if you can't get your hands on a '02 (is it '02 or '03? Regardless, the TUPY casting) or later head cheaply.
[Foreigner]Head Games! That's all I get from you, head games![/Foreigner]Thank you very much for the information. Now I am confused and have to read up on this different head stuff.![]()
Today I ordered three sets of these:
keep the cylinder... replace the jeep.back to the PSC website to look for the cylinder I need.
Make sure you have a good solid surface to set them on, they twist and break and sometimes sink into soft ground.
I use a small piece of ply-wood.
Urk. Good point. I'm used to tractor hydraulics with more than enough flow to displace the piston rod volume.Dan It's because it takes more volume to fill one side of cylinder due to the fact the shaft is not taking up volume. The only way it will be even one way to the other is to get a double ended ram. Give me the I.d. of the tube of the cylinder and the shaft diameter and length of stroke and I can tell you a little more about your valve and probably point you in a good direction for your cylinder.
