I don't see any difference. To me it still looks like a loud, slow, leaky American made Motorcycle made in Milwaukee and driven by middle aged men who are trying to reinvent a youth they never lived :D

Just to be sure, 'cause you never know how folks read stuff... I am pulling your leg.

I guess, I had a '99 XL that would smoke anything around.
It won the dyno drags in Janseville in 2000.
I forget, 125 hp and 110 ft/pounds of torque.
Some where around there.
The only difference between that Harley and a sport bike is the sport bike made women horny and the Harley actually made them cum (home and do dishes)

I like the clean look of that air cleaner Josh. I switched mine out at the time to a hypercharger, but if I am to build another bike up, I am going for a more minimalist look and steering away from a lot of add ons.

found 2 moabs on ebay with brand new (stocker) MTRs. i have one as a spare.

thinking of getting them, and trying to find one more. then throwing my best used ones on the little military trailer i got from dan. and using 1 more of my used tires as a spare. would be a cheaper venture than 5 new tires... and keep my MPG for now but look a little funny with my chopped fenders. but ill have matching trailer tires!

thoughts?

I would host a party here this summer...finding a free weekend might be a challenge tho.

You gotta let go of the past. Next thing you'll tell me is you love Obama and the EPA.

That air filter is made by Arlen ness. It's pretty sweet because you can mount any big twin derby cover to it to match the rest of the bike or do something custom.

Re: quote of the day thread..

If you are going to be camping a lot in campgrounds, you REALLY should look into a quieter generator.
Speaking as someone who has been camping for 20 plus years, the "tractor generators" are really fround upon in campgrounds and most will not allow them.

Right now we are dry camping at the Rockford Airshow, we have done so every year for 4 years. The neighbor hater generators are always a point of contention. A group will bring an 8,000 watt generator, drag it around the back of their campsite, which happens to be right in front of someones else's camp spot and run it from 7:00AM until 10:00PM.

Re: quote of the day thread..

we were at a gathering a few years back and someones "neighbor hater" was running and kept getting shut off by someone else, it ended in a fist fight where about a 1/4 of the camp ground got involved and the generator user go the shit kicked out of them....when the cops showed up amazingly no one knew what happened..no witnesses or anything :dunno:

Speaking of parties, next fall or spring will be one at the new "Casa de Sean and Emerson"
Camping, shooting, atv/side by side trails, I might even get a fresh load of sheep to molest!

Details as things progress.....

Ness makes some sweet stuff, I had the forward control extensions on my FXST and a few little add on things (mirrors, etc)

There are days I really miss cranking up the bike and rolling on, but with everything going on in my life the past 6 years, I could not devote the time or attention it would take to have a bike again...I would be a danger to myself on the road with everything going on it my mind!! :D

Speaking of shit going on in my mind, I just remembered it is my 11 year anniversary today, I better go to town and get something for her I suppose....or I could just give her the meat hammer tonight in exchange for mouth hugs. :dunno: (I am so romantic)

Cheese "cant believe she is still around" Man
