Important

is that the one with the receiver mounted front hitch?

for an extreme 4x4 the sure found the most extreme way to kill approach angle :D

Just bought 2 plane tickets to Colorado! Too bad the Jeep won't fit in my carry-on!

Actually managed to be able to watch Extreme 4x4 this morning. Ian was building up an XJ on the "cheap." Deaver leaf springs? Not so cheap. $1800 in an 8.8 without disc brakes?! Sure, it's got the Super 88 kit, 4.88s and an ARB, but damn! That's just stupid!

And just so everyone knows, the "D30 shouldn't be locked on 33s unless you have alloy shafts"...Though I think he was just saying stuff like that for total beginners.

He did give some good advice. After painting this XJ camo, he said "You may not like the color combination we chose, but for under $25 you can have a paint job that looks this good with other colors. And if you dent it on the trail, remember, that's alright."

Those shows interest me but they're "budget" builds are a joke!

bought a second mower today to speed up the mowing of 5+ acres fo yard, I'll be damned if the hydrostat went out within 30 minutes. I called the shop and they closed at noon today...so Monday morning we will be paying them a visit. Sucks balls, but hope they will stand behind it since they said "if there are any problems, bring it back"

Cheese "that is what I get for buying a used mower" Man

both my neighbors have lawncare businesses and they wont by a hydrostatic mower..... they work great until it goes out and then you have to get a friggin tow truck to get you

Pull behind multi-reel mower. Best $1500 you'll ever spend. Lap the blades twice a year with lapping compound and go mow 12 feet at a time.
I don't think I could even turn that around in my yard. A walk-behind 22" mower does my lawn in about 55 minutes.

Dad picked up a used Kubota estate mower a few years ago. Holy cow, can you cover ground on that in a hurry. The farm yard is a couple of acres.

I used to push-mow a family friend's yard for cash when I was a kid. 2.5 acres seemed like it took forever. Mowed the 1.5 acres on a rider as an adult when I lived with a buddy, 6 beers was my method of timing by then. Didn't seem to take so long when the lines got crooked.

If I had 5 acres like tyler, that's what I would use.

I mowed a golf course for a year before I joined.

tyler could use the exersize of push mower, lol

I was given a mower that the valve seat backed out of. Ive got it all tore apartm with all the parts I need and have yet to get it back together.

Spent the day helping a buddy put a 2.5 lift on a tj, a rusty tj. took forever.
Also while on our lunch run I noticed a clunk going from rev to drive. Killed my 3rd rear ujoint in 3 years.
