Went through my tool box today. Sorted all my sockets again just to make sure they were sorted. Metric on one side, standard on the other. Also got my impact driver and impact sockets in my tool box also. Found my 1/2" ratchet also.

WHOA...

I'll be helping put one in a 68 bronco this spring. Guy I work with is doing a p-pump 4bt with an Nv4500 and Dana 20. Should get mid 20's on 37's when he's done.

In Other news, went to my Local club's holiday party last night. Walked away with a set of tire deflators, a deadblow hammer(great for sway bar endlinks), a set of SAE wrenches and a blown up picture of my Jeep in action which I'll be having taken at WF thanks to Cardboard's daughter since she's a camera nerd! All in all it was a good night minus the ice.

From freezing rain Friday to sever thunderstorms tonight. Yep, this is Indiana.

this is my plan for a j10...probably a different tcase, but i'm looking for a p-pump 4bt, nv4500 and possibly a 231 out of a dodge cummins. not sure yet, i'm in the beginning stage of research

Good luck with the NV4500 search, took him months to find a good one that wasn't retarded expensive. Its amazing how people want so much for a pile of shit truck with a good motor and trans.

yeah...im a ways down the road from that still. there are actually 1 or 2 in the pick and pull here, but god knows how many miles are on them. i also found one on cl here for $400 with 30k, but i don't have the time or money to get it right now.

the one advantage to living in iowa is that there are a million farm trucks to choose from...most of them are in chevys though which require adapting and a bunch of other crap i don't want to deal with!
