Important

This is $3,000 worth of deer related carnage (some hoof imprints in the door, and the bumper wrinkled the other fender).

And this is poo.

The worst part of that was being stuck in a PT Cruiser for a week. Bet the Civic has a higher bill than that... something to be said for driving an old, over-insured, brick.
That is all.

I have been up since 4:30 waiting on a guy that was supped to be here around 5:00 this morning to pick up a set of forks for the skidsteer.....still not here...if he is not here in about 10 minutes I am heading to the field..I hate it when someone has no regard for my time. I could have had about 15-20 acres worked by now.

AWESOME! That's a fawking WIN! It must not have been too big of a deer. I've seen worse damage on older (more steel) vehicles but then I don't know the speed at which your cousin was traveling.

He said it was a decent size doe. He was running 80 and she plowed into his fender. When I went to go check it out I passed his car on the interstate to turn around and just past him on the other side of the interstate a Toyota pickup had a deer under it. I think a few decided to run at the wrong time. Worst part was, we didn't know where the deer was, We would have kept it.

that will buff out.

Yep, Buffing has commenced! :D

He has liability, this will be out of pocket. Looks like 300 or so bucks in parts. Gonna order a pair of headlights since they are only 62 bucks for OEM units. Pulled the fender yesterday and everything behind there is straight minus the corner of the inner fender, which is just bent a little.

Yuengling beer is now available in Ohio.
My favorite local wing place(Quaker Steak and Lube) has it on tap.:worship:

Yuengling is *NOT* Chinese, it's made in Pennsylvania. Oldest family owned brewery in the USA. They've got some good brews.

Yuengling is my favorite beer. It's been available in the south for about 10 years.

They built a whole new factory to expand production and distribution into the midwest.

That sucks.

We think the timing is off by a tooth or two. Its only running on 4 cyl. The reason that we paid 2100 for this motor was to have something that was set up and ready to run.

I'm currently listening to the guy that built it give me some excuses.

Those are a PITA to time correctly with the DOHC.

Sorry to hear though, especially after all the waiting and work.

Yes they are. big time. We had one go through the shop in a liberty v6. Same design basically. Had one bearing cap on the cam on incorrectly. Siezed the cam and broke the pin off of the cam so the gear spun. It ran on 3 cyl. Like doo doo.

Three timing chains.

He wants me to do a compression test.

Then...this, then that...
