Remember everyone, Mac isn't the Only MWC guy running for DAL, Spawn93 is in southern KY!

just thinking about a run over there and was thinking it was not too killer of a drive for ya.....it is about 5.5-6 hours for me as well.

very possible, I will have plenty of spare time then b/c no crops to worry about, cattle will be sold and it is not too busy at work or the shop.

GoSlowGetStuck was wondering about this... I think he's up to... heck I don't know how many he's bought this year.

I say thumbs up to getting a dealers license.

I might "only" be at 6 this year :) I've had a couple years close to 12, but I've never gotten any guff at the BMV so I don't worry too much. I'd still love a dealer's license, saving on the constant registration fees and sales tax would be great.

I think its 10 in Indiana. I could becareful of that...especially if I'm happy with the truck I currently own...for now...

If you float a title that keeps you out of the 10...but...is it legal? i try to avoid that question...

mac 'has owned a LOT in me 33 years' gyvr

I have considered floating a title on project vehicles that never go anywhere, never get insured/plated, it seems unfair for two people to pay tax on a vehicle that was never driven. But to date I have always broken down and paid the tax and gotten a fresh title even if I didn't plate it. You never know who's going to show up to buy it and if they'll throw a fit.

Go figure. GC's are for girls. :D

I'll make you a sweet deal on a gently-used yellow ZJ, old-lady owned, driven to church on Sundays, etc...

The state gov takes and takes. If I buy someting to scrap or resell, I'm not giving the state the title fee and taxes.

I my bday is in march, if I don't renew my plates in march, even those vehicles I store for the winter, or my RV, they hit me with an extra $10 fee for late registration. Which means I need to put insurance on these vehicles to get plates. That's bs too.

We pay gas taxes through the nose and still drive on shit roads.

Dan, a buddy of mine south of Lansing told me a while back that the MI Legislature has pulled another fast one. Your plates no longer expire on the last day of the month of your birth, they expire on the FIRST day of the month of your birth.

just ten bucks?
Ohios new late fee is 30 dollars, per item.

a friend was 2 days late getting his license renewed, because you used to have until the end of the month. Now it expires on your birthday, cost him an extra 60 bucks because he was 48 hours late on his renewal.

I'm just waiting for the collapse.

Indiana is 12...at least it was a few years ago when I researched it due to the number of vehics I was selling out of my front yard. The dealer license also requires some sort of "storefront" or something like that.

Yes a place in which to sell cars that is zoned a business front or the like...

I'm looking at 46 and 50 foot goosenecks...yikes!

I think I have grace sold on a big trailer, cause I told her that we could buy a new bed and I'll put our current one in the trailer if we get one...that way I have a place to sleep...always...

mac 'if all goes well dad's jeep will be running tonight' gyvr

AWESOME! That's a fawking WIN! It must not have been too big of a deer. I've seen worse damage on older (more steel) vehicles but then I don't know the speed at which your cousin was traveling.

that will buff out.
