Anyone live in the Seattle area?
I was delivery a pizza today, and saw some sort of flyer on people cars.
I just don’t remember what it all exactly said. I should have grabbed it, but I was so disgusted by it I didn’t.
It stated that all us middle class families who had family members in the war are idiots, It stated that no rich/politicians kids were in the war, Then made fun of all the deaths.
Yes it did make fun of the deaths that have happened it actually said ha ha, that is why I left.
Now that is something that is going over the line. Go ahead say you’re against the war; call the troops names, take down yellow ribbons, just don’t make fun of them dying! How dare someone do that!
Did anyone happen to get one of those, and can type out what it said.

I'm just curious how many democrats are out there? It seems as if this place is full of republicans.

really, it said no rich kids or politicians.....what about tillman? the man left the NFL for horse craps sake to fight the war, along with his brother.....he's prolly one of the richest people in the military, lower enlisted speaking wise......so they can put that in their pipe and smoke it

and the quote came from Winston Churchill.

Sorry but that quote is usually attributed to a philosopher by the name of George Satayana. Churchill used it in a speech.

Maybe I'm a little biased but I don't like to hear people call the troops names. We're standing for what we believe in (ie this country) and the detractors are standing for what they believe in. If some soldiers or Marines were to get together and put out flyers bad-mouthing the people against the war or say anything derogatory towards those with different opinions, people wouldn't stand for it.

PS I just watched Team America over the weekend. It was hilarious. And unlike most movies out today that talk at all about anything related to the war, they didn't bash us or at least didn't just say we're stupid. They made fun of everyone, it was great. The music was making fun of all the patriotism goin on now and the made fun of all the actors trying to be "political activists". The Film Actors Guild...F.A.G. priceless...
