retarded questions.

I don;t need my daily drivers to look hardcore on the STREET.

There's no need to sound arrogant, Not everybody has the financial resources to own specific purpose vehicles.

I do recall when you yourself was wheelin' your daily driver. I have some pics in case you have forgotten. :twak:

out of context. did I say everyone had to have TWO vehilces?

nice attempt though scott, I was talking about modifying my daily driver, I wasn't talking about jeeps, and I wasn't talking to you.

once I got a normal daily driver, retards asked me when I was gonna lift those too. someone thouhgt I would actually put a solid axle on my durango? probably the same guy that kept bugging me to lift the tj, and put dual exhaust on the durango.

that was my point, but I see that you are trying to make your own.

now from the top....this time, use your OWN words.

Nope.

You were ragging on other folks when you made those blanket statements. :rattle:

I'm done with this rediculous thread... PM if you still need to rant

excuse me?

I was responding to woody about someone telling him I put a solid axle on my daily driver......

looks like I struck a nerve though....

suck it up.

unlike some of these guys here, I have enough self confidence where I don't have to drive around town in a lifted vehicle to feel like a real jeeper. no stupid lift kit, no aftermarket exhaust.

Funny you should say this...Since getting out of the hospital, I've been having to drive the wife's TEAL jetta cuz the ride in the Heep is not...well...let's just say...painless...

Although the ride is comfy and the speed is well...fun, I do miss the view from the heep and the "disposability"

This thread has now officially crossed over into a daily driver, wheel it, mod it, or get another car thread ;)

Vasectomy huh? Boy, do I know where you're coming from. :puke:

I mean, no, I don't know where you're coming from. :eyes:

if you guys want to add any more commentary, have at it, only see if you can restrain yourselves from quoting me.....my response was to woody, but I think I've said that already

Pssh IFS, I think he should turn the I6 90degrees and make it front wheel drive transaxle.

BS, Scotty is right. YOu said fawk dual purpose DD but in the past you've praised folks who do it. Waffle boy.

I wasn't talking about turning street jeeps into part-time offroad vehiocles, I was alking about the retardation behind turning street-purpose vehicles like durangos into part-time trail vehicles....

its all there in print.

all you have to do is READ.

if spinning words is your thing, have fun.

I totally agree with you and I understand what you were saying but I was just trying to annoy you.

My appologies, sir. Because I am new, I had lost myself in the forums and couldn't find me. My main reason for this question is not for a smother ride, or because I don't like the look of my XJ. But When riding through a rough trail, even when your tires ar 44's the axle is still going to drag and hit bottom and possebly damage your drive shaft. I was wanting to know If it would be better or not to install four wheel independant susspension. That way I would get the maximum performance of both my lift and tires.

dragging driveshaft is not really a concern.

if you run a HD driveshaft with a .083-.120 thickness, you can really bash your drivetrain.

I've had the enitre weight of my rig on my driveshafts, i've had the driveshaft "spin" me onto, and off of obstacles.

a little rock rash on your driveshaft is not a reason to go ifs or irs
