ideas for the front end

im currently running ford radius arms with johnny joints on a hp 44
it works ok but compard to the rear 4link it sux

i was think a 3 or trianglated 4 link
i have the lower links worked out but im have truble with how to tie in the upper link to the body.

any ideas

Are you hoping to lose the trackbar? Check out the URF three link.

Here's what I did. I plated the bottom of the frame for the lower mount, then ran a section of plate from the edge of the lower plate to the existing upper mount, and drilled a new hole.

So, what's so bad about a track bar? I like them, they work well. It's not simple to make a triangulated front end with the space constraints that you have under the front of an XJ. Have you noticed that the trend in competition buggies is away from triangulated suspensions and back to track bars? There is no inherent superiority of either setup, it's just a matter of what you're after.

thats moer then likely what im going to do, but with more postions to bolt in to.

your right there is noting going with a track bar. i just dont want one
