No worries. I'm in no hurry at all so we can get a date that works for everyone. I believe dirk is not able to make the 24th but can do that last weekend. If we can't get everyone together we can look into February. Just itchin to get to wrenchin. I've started tearing down some of Annie, bumpers, front shaft and anything else I can get away with before that weekend.

We will plan to have the WrenchFest on January 31st. We can start as early as anyone wants to start (7 to 8 am if you want).
You need a detailed list of what you want to accomplish with details of what needs to be done to each rig. Example - Remove stock front suspension from the '97 and install longarm suspension from Annie. I would be more detailed in describing what is being transferred from Aniie to the new XJ. This will allow us to know how to organize tasks, people and what tools and supplies will be needed to accomplish the job.
While I have tools, we need to keep them from getting lost. Also plan to bring consumables such as grinding and cutoff wheels and sawzall blades if needed. My selection of these items is about nil right now.
I like sausage egg and cheese McMuffin breakfast sandwiches.

I'd like to accomplish the following...
1. Remove tranny and t-case from both jeeps and Install Annie's tranny and t-case into green jeep.
2. Remove crossmember from annie and install on green jeep after tranny swap.
3. If time permits...
a. Swap front axle and suspension from annie to green jeep
b. Swap rear axle and suspension from annie to green jeep
c. Swap tires from annie to gree jeep

I think we should be able to get all that done. If we have three guys on transmission and transfer case and at the same time two other guys doing suspension and axles we should be able to work together without getting in each other's ways.
How many sets of jack stands should we need? I could bring two. I could also bring a racing Jack if we need it.

I have a lift, compressor and mig welder (I need to fix the ground clamp) that can all be used. I am also wired for 110 and 220. I have 2 large jack stands and 2 medium sized ones along with a 2 ton floor jack.
Depending on the temperature, I have a 220 heater we can use to knock the chill off the shop too.

Ed, do you have a compressor big enough to push air tools, and if so, will they be essential to doing the work? I assume, Brian, you are going to soak everything in PB Blaster a week out?
