I don't need it for the trail, but for the steet. Tuesday I was driving to work and someone decided they need to stop for no reson. I was able to stop fine but the Honda civic behind went under my XJ if I did not have a lift he would have toatled both of us. His front bumper was just a few inches from my tires. It was close, but no harm was done.
