you know with this spool its a love hate thing. i love that its a spool and gives me super traction & gives my jeep the ability to drift on paved road. but i hate that it eats tires

Yeah a spool on a DD just doesn't work for most people. They think oh it'll be fine at first, but after they eat up a couple sets of tires, they get tired of it real quick.

His is a mini spool anywas so he can just put his spiders back in. I would have just went with an Aussie locker.

oh ok that explains it. How bad do they chew through them tires? how many miles do you drive to burn your tires off?
