I drove my jeep yesterday

Maybe I should have told you to sit down first, but i drove my jeep yesterday. It's been up at Dean's getting more work done (steering ram, tube work, brakes re-plumbed, new suspension bushings, anti wrap bar, new rear shocks) and it's actually pretty damn close to being trail ready. I still need to get it smogged/reg'd and it's still as ugly as ever, but it's a pretty solid runner.

I will want to get to Prarie City end of April for a shake down run and will post up when I go.

Check the ohv website before you go, if memory serves their closing the 4x4 area quite a bit next month. I think the obstacle course will be closed on the last weekend of April and their having the vorra races at the beginning of the month. I’ve finally learned my lesson to check the site after driving countless times to prairie from Rocklin and north natomas only to get denied. But now I’m only 5 minutes away so it doesn’t matter much.

mike, thanks for the tips. my friend has 50 acres in lincoln with some rock piles so maybe I will just use that as my shake down.

Should be ready for a full season of wheeling!

when I lived out in Roseville I would go out to the new housing developments in Lincoln to wheel (I worked at one though). No one bothered me as long as you go in the early evening
