I was planning on doing a sort of roller on the axle, but your idea sounds good. I expected to feel a heavy shock load on the trail. I have seen people use an ATV winch, only to have it destroyed due to the shock loading. I guess the straps have enough give.

Where did you get your straps, or did you fab them yourself?

What type of end attachments did you use on your straps?

You use off the shelf limit straps, from a number of different manufacturers. They come in one inch increments all lengths. Most online 4x4 vendors sell them, like Poly Performance or most places that sell shocks.

i used a ballistic tube clamp on my tie rod - 1.25 dom i think and squezed it on my jks OTA mount... i have a psc ram

oh btw what size are those 90 degree hydro elbows? i need a pair becasue i used straight on connections and my lines are rubbing track bar!

Im using old seatbelts for my axle end limit straps, and I am thinking about doing the same for the centers as well.


Or at some point I am going to be redoing my bumper and might see if I can somehow get my winch to work as a suck down winch when Im not using it.
