Hummer BS

oh snap that mofo is blingin

here's my XJ and the Hummer.....it has done a few obstacles where the XJ couldn't... especially one notable obstacle that is about 42% off camber so they are good for some things... this Hummer has done Moab several times as well, rolled over once too

Hope you're not teaching that to your kids.

Well we are all critics.........but for an off the shelf stock vehicle, it does out preform the last model year stock XJ (2001). All the new goodies out there like traction control, hill descent etc...make it much easier to wheel for someone that that is lacking in seat time. Yes the H2 does share the same platform as other GM vehicles, however it has the added benefits of TC, HDC, etc.....thus off road it performs better than the other vehicles sharing its platform. I have wheeled alot of stock vehicles, and thus far the G-wagon has everything else beat hands down right off the showroom floor, but yeah i still luv my XJ and enjoy wheeling old school, open diffs, lots of articulation, and alot of skill behind the wheel, my club I ride with has all kinds of modified jeeps, some trails they say the min tire size is 33" and need to be locked, gee I gracefully to it on 30's and open diffs...........and have never broken a drivetrain component for one reason..finesse. My old CJ-2A has taken me all over, as has my Land Rover Series IIA, sure would be much confoer in an H2 but I dont really care for all the 4x4 enhancing electronics, it doesn't let me wheel it like it should be wheeled, on this board I see so often, member ridiculing guys with stock rides..saying ya gotta do mods, well I personally think alot of people need to learn how to wheel first before modding out there ride, this sport has become the environment for MR Amex, and MR Visa, first time off roading.......yet not a clue as to why articulation is important.........but thats ok they bought lockers......but dont know how and why they work..................................time for another pint, maybe I will take my wife's civic down to the lake tonight..........too bad she doesn't have a locker.....................

just let them hummers mess up one time and roll bamm how much will it cost to fix lol posers. rich punks lol . ever seena hummer rollin down the road with alil fender damage? NO they aint in the bush like XJ owners. Theyll get on there sat phones and get back to there lifestyle, and tell stories of there great adventure. Imagine a a group of hummer boys mesin with some jeepers lol. Down my way they would go home with more than fender damage :)

yeah thanks alot i just read 12 pages of crap :laugh2: are you still gonna make a vid? i mean it's all in fun right?

True that there were not any xjs in the vid. But can you imagine jeep making a 50,000 dollar off the shelf xj???? Holy crap, nothing would stop it! I like that idea! Maybe thats how jeep needs to get back at the vid!!! But of course those guys could have a jeep with tons of mods that could make it go anywhere for half the price. Who in their right mind would buy one of those??? I will give props to the H1 though! Now there is a stock vehicle!!

That is too f__king funny doc! A couple of posts and you tied their $hit into knots quicker than one of my fat chick pics... :laugh3:

I love how they call themselves a 'Hummer Guru' and yet have a technical forum that talks about self-sticking chrome pieces and crap like that. Too funny... I'm sure we all seem like knobs to outsiders too, but I can't help but have a little in-group laugh at the out-group Hummorons...

put down the bottle before you type a 16 page diatribe on how great you are ;)
1. you DON'T see MEMBERS on this forum ridiculing stock rides...you must be thinking of another board you've seen... This board is riddled with the sentiment that you should learn to wheel before modifying your vehicle, OVER AND OVER AGAIN...
and 2. articulation is overrated.... as your previous evidence of how you wheeled your stocker on 30's describes...
:D
