The Flowmaster will make you very happy.

Flowmaster is good but a person like me with picky ears will not like the hollow sound it makes. I like a crisp sounding exhaust note. I hear a lot of trucks that put on flowmasters but usually it just makes a hollower sound to it to make it seem like a lower note. I can pretty much tell what kind of exhaust the person has just by the sound of it.

Well what I got is Illegal, but trust me I've managed to fool everybody into thinking theres a beast of a V8 under the hood.

I cut the cat off (first illegal move) and replaced it with a 2-1/2 inch pipe then I added a cherry bomb in place of the old muffler. To top it off I got a 14 inch long, 3 inch dia. boom tube (not a fart cannon) exahust tip. After all that a substantial increase in HP and Tourqe. It pretty much sounds like a hoped up 350, something you'd hear from a Camaro SS. The best part is when tooting the gas it has that old hotrod style raspy popping exhaust note. At idle the ground shakes from the vibration of the exhuast note but not too loud to upset a cop. :guitar:

the difference with me is i really do have a 350 under the hood and i want to keep it quiet, how ironic!

Well you can use mufflers and cats that camaros use, that would be one
suggestion. But why would you want to quiet an actual 350???

Man if I had a 350 I'd put up a duel and route it to the sides before the back wheels. Try to make it similar to an x pipe setup.

He used a Ghetto Tech Pro, what else do you need...................:dunno:

You can get the same effect for free by swiss-cheesing the muffler with a screwdriver...

grab a handfull of sand, and pour it through the oil filler cap, that will beat everything...:P

As much as I'd like to take credit for it, I cann't.

This "mod" showed up here sometime in the last year. I just did the copy N paste thing for the addy.

by the way, on my 350 i run 18" of 2" exhaust pipe. thats it, it will rattle your teeth out, but it sounds soooo sweet when you take off from a light and stand on it a little! ( NO JOKE:exclamati :exclamati :exclamati )

I chopped my muffler off right behind my cat, and then whipped out the 2' drill bits and went to town on the cat... Loud as hell, but I love it! When I get my cams in and she's got a nice slow lope, it'll sound like a diesel ;)

i run my own cold air kit, and hollowed out my cat 3" pipe after the cat into a 3" 40 series flowmaster dumping towards my pass rear tire(no trail dust). to this day ive yet to hear a cherokee as loud and crisp as mine. its not odnoxious its has that "Flowmaster sound".

I blew my Headman header, and that sounded like a Big Block but got real annoying and I think I lost part of my hearing from it, Especially when you get the RPMS over 2500 RPMs, you dam near needed ear plugs

I made my Tracker sound like a crotch rocket about 7-8 years ago...Knocked the muffler off while out crawling and left it that way for about a week. People all gave me funny looks like "There's something fishy going on here." Crack the muffler and then leave it underneath so you can reconnect it for emissions or if you need it or whatever...
