How about a 1 hour tow?

As some of you know, I am finally ending my commute and moving to the springs next week. But, try as I might, I did not manage to get my rig in a "rollable" condition in time for the move. So, I need to tow it, but don't have the means (other than perhaps taking advantage of my AAA membership;) ). If anyone has the time, equipment or inclination, I need to tow the rig from Highlands Ranch to the north end of the springs on Wednesday night or Thursday (preferred) of next week. A flatbed would be best, but I think I have will have pasted the frontend together enough for a tow dolly to work. I will of course provide the gas, pizza, sandwiches, beer, soda, parts... whatever you need! :helpme:

TIA

Chris, I have a truck if you can get a towdolly or flatbed would be willing to help for the price of fuel (diesel)

Thanks Josh. If I can't find someone with a full rig that can help out, I will rent a dolly and take you up on the offer. PM me you contact details and where you're located and I'll give you a call.

I've got an F-250 and a 40' car hauler. I may be persuaded to help this weekend, like Saturday morning.

Problem being I have nowhere to tow to until I close on my new house on Wednesday... Thanks anyways.

AH, my bad. I didn't see the next week thingy in there. Too bad you're not closer, I'd leave it on the trailer 'till then. Maybe someone here who lives in the Springs can store it. I have a buddy down there, but his house isn't finished yet. I have Sat.-Mon. off from work and nothing on the schedule. Lemme know...

Thanks for the thought, but I still end up towing it twice that way, and inconveniencing someone else with storage. I'll work it out - thanks!

I have a tow dolly you could borrow, but I have no time to do the tow itself. I am in Loveland.

Thanks Tom (lots of Loveland support coming in!), but it would likely cost close to as much in gas to come get your dolly as to rent one down on this end of the state, plus I would need to free up another couple hours in an already insane schedule with moving and all. Hopefully I can find someone with both the equipment and time down in the southern end...

Chris,

I'm planning on heading to CO Fest that Friday morning. I'd be heading that way anyway, but was planning on taking the wife's Envoy.

I could take the truck to the event. We could off-load my XJ from the trailer here at my place, and load yours up Wed or Thurs, then I could bring it out Friday morning. As you know, I can't be much help loading, but if you'd be willing to float me a little gas money, I think the wife could be agreeable to taking the poor MPG truck........

Would there be anywhere for me to park the trailer at your 'Springs location overnight to Saturday late afternoon/evening? My plan is to head up to the 'Fest for the dinner/raffle, stay the night and head out Saturday late morning. If not, I imagine I could drop the trailer at the camp ground overnight, but I don't wanna haul the weight if it's avoidable.

Lemme know.

Yeah, we'll have it handled later this week. I'm sure Chris appreciates your willingness to help.

I do, thanks for the offer. Sorry for the slow response, but the compter is already packed, so I'm limited to work access. I'll call you Wednesday evening after my closing, Troy! Thanks again.
