Hood vents preparing for spring

Tried the magnet thing, too bad the vents are aluminum and well they arent very magnetic.

LeBarons had aluminium vents? Every set I've ever pulled has been plastic.

As far as vents go, I have the scoops (one per car) off of a 300ZX. I'll be mounting them reversed when I finally decide where to put them.

Screw vents... I just cut some holes in the hood with a hole saw..... 3 core radiator and I run at 190 all day long. Never had any problem with water, but then we don't get ALL that much snow melting here.
DO NOT USE MAGNETS... I used em on a drive down to Uwharrie last year and ran through a bit of rain.... 2 days later when I lifetd the magnets I rad light surface rust under it. It buffed out ok but I wouldnt recommend it except for a short time maybe. Just my $.02

Plus they're just plain ghetto fabulous....

Dumb Question Alert!!! If you're going to cut up a hood, why not just cut out the catch pans stamped into the Lebaron Hood (and all other vent equipped Turbo K cars) and weld them to your Jeep's hood?

Really, I thought the ones I bought FROM YOU were aluminum.
Im a dumbass then. I can admit that. They are made of different plastic then. Either way, the magnet wont stick to them.

Actually i really like those vents.. pricy sure but i think ill get some! sweeet!! much nicer then the others i have seen.. go for it!
