ok. the timing chain fit is a problem you would have to solve, if the block studs are the right spacing, stroke then comes into play because you would have to use the jug that matches the head you intend to use.
the exhaust would then be exiting the engine directly at your left leg IF you could get everything to match up internally. personally I wouldn't waste my time. the transverse mounting of the engine and funky tranny/axle setup won't allow the use of a complete engine/tranny from a 300, 400 or 450.
my advice is to scrap that idea and buy a real bike if you want to go faster. I know that what you're probably aiming for is a wolf in sheeps clothing, but the 250 is not the proper sheep to let that wolf lock up with, everyone will notice that your exhaust sticks out of the side of your engine for some reason.
