I have a 1965 trail 90 I am trying to get going.

Does anyone on here know if I can run the 70s carb on the 65 with a little bit of work?

Just jet it accordingly and you should be fine, step up the pilot and main jet a few sizes and you should be good. I know on the newer milky I carbs honda uses try don't have pilot jets for the small cc bikes, I don't remember if the trail 90's were similar. I'm a bike mechanic so if you ever have a question feel free to message me. Good luck

cool thanks. I ended up actually finding the right carb rebuild kit. I ordered a few different ones that said they were for the 64-66 but only one was right. Also grabbed new fuel lines, rectifier, battery , oil, fuel filters, spark plug, tires , air filter, and a bunch of other stuff for the thing .

You'll never get it right, might as well parts train the whole bike down to me as junk. :eyes:

my second broken bone was on a trail 90 :D we used to call it the death machine but my dad still let me ride it :rof:
