holy crap we made it!

Sean got stuck a few times one happened to be 100ft from camp and took a good half hour to get the tire changed and winch / strapped up

Probably will still be hearing about that on next years run, what can I say? When I get stuck, I go for it all the way!:gee:

The biggest thing about the trail is how it just never gives you a break, there is always another obstacle and unlike any other trail i have been on... I hope to make this a yearly event.

The first time I wheeled the rubicon I walked away feeling the exact same way. The second time it was a technical trail, the third time out it was like a sunday drive, very pretty and a lot of fun. The Rubicon Trail definetly has a lot to offer, and as your driving skill and rig develop, it will become a lot less difficult and allow you to really take in the beauty surrounding you.

:)

Wow the trail looks like its so much fun... favorite type of terrain. Gonna make it out next year for sure, I feel liked I missed out big time.

Here's some of the pics that turned out. My co-pilot was the photographer and his camera skills are a little poor. He also spent most of his time spotting me which meant I didn't get a lot of pics.

did anyone run the trail w/o sliders? or open diffs front/rear? im hoping to run it next year but i have alot i need to upgrade before i make the challenge

I was running with a L/S rear, running without sliders would be possible if you were to make small sacrifices, like say.... never opening your doors again

i was wondering the same i'm building some new sliders but my rig isnt fully locked either so hmmmmm... i would love to run it....

brad - u think ol black box could of made it??? u've seen my rig lol
