Hollister run April 16

Let's come up with a plan B quick! I'm not willing to miss out on wheeling this weekend. I'll need some directions to the new spot, though. I'm not familiar with either of those spots.

This has happened to me before. There's nothing like sitting at the ranger station trying to explain to a 3year old why you can't go in! Thanks for checking, Chris.

HOLLISTER IS CLOSED THIS WEEKEND!!!!

IT PISSES ME OFF WHEN THEY CLOSE THE TRUCK RANCH FOR A FAWKING MOTORCYCLE RACE! THERE IS 1200 ACRES SET ASIDE FOR BIKES, AND 800 ACRES FOR TRUCKS. DO THEY EVER CLOSE THE MOTORCYCLE SIDE- HELL NO!

On a lighter note, it would be a shame not to get together for the weekend. I am suggesting Clear Creek BLM area instead. Clear Creek is not much farther, and has all the facilities we need to have the run and BBQ. I took the weekend off to do some wheelin, I am going to do some wheelin somewhere!

I checked to website a month ago when I posted the run, no closure at that time. Sucks I guess. Maybe Frank Raines is the next best choice.

What do you guys think? Frank Raines is off of I5 near Patterson. Still good for all driving skill levels.

I'll look into it some more, but if Hollister is closed, then this might have to be it. Not real interested in the clear creek area, too far for not much to do.

I say Frank Raines. Does somebody have a link to the FR site for directions and address?

Frank Rains is good for me! I have the soft drinks, and bottled water covered. Would like a ballpark head count sometime before friday night to make sure I bring enough.

BC - How long was the drive to FR? I seriously doubt I can go cause I have to be home by 4 the latest.

FleXJ are you going to drive up there without your doors and stuff? I was planning on going doorless, but FR is a lot further than Hollister!

Someone should call, I was there with Muck 3 weeks back, lots of the park is closed from the fire, but the creek was open

Its ~2 hours from the south bay.. I think dave made it in 1.5 last weekend, he had a deadline as well.

No doors, and no rear roof. My expedition will be warm and cozy, with my beater on the trailer though.
