Hiring Bus Drivers

if it were in Sacramento i would have been interested. Tired of the Road . $18.00 an hour would be hard to stomach but i would get over it eventually. Its less than half what I earn on average . I miss my family and would take the cut....

Driving one of those busses cant be more stresssfull than training new truck drivers on the big road. Some of my students have only about 5 or 6 hours behind the wheel of a Semi. Just enough to squeak by the license examiners. Not enough to safely opperate an 18 Wheeler.
I got to teach em everything pretty much and also drive 10-11 hours a day. Not alot of sleep in my line of work. I get some real losers to . I dont know where they get some of these knuckleheads. Working with my 28th Student. The pay is pretty decent though. In my last year of a three year contract and I usally clear from $6000 to$10,000 a month before tax. I would trade it for a cake local job and a real life.

I believe the $18 is while going through the six week training course, once you pass the training it takes a jump to ~$24 with stepped increases for longevity.

I have a couple of mechanics that live in Sacramento. They crash out three nights a week in an old RV under the freeway. The farthest daily commuter is either, Rio Vista or Manteca and they work swing or graveyard shifts.
