Heres what I did today...

that splitter is the scariest friggen thing....everytime he bends down to get the split wood i think its going to catch his head....sheesh....

been a little busy....just installed an ox locker and yukon chromo shafts i got for 25 bucks!! woohoo

Yup, my design. Its pretty simple / Clean (which is what I wanted)

I might have a couple made by the PA jeep show... we'll see.

Looks good...

I need a simple/clean/light bumper for my WJ... feel like a challenge? :D:D:D

Nobody makes a decent simple/clean/light bumper for a WJ for any kind of reasonable money. The one I have on it now was a Kennesaw Mtn bumper, and it weighed over 100lbs before I cut a bunch of meat off of it. It now weighs around 70lbs, which is still heavy for a non-winch front bumper, but the front of WJ's and ZJ's are so open once the front plastic is taken off that it takes a lot of material (and most think it needs to be 1/8" to 3/16" metal ) to cover it back up. I think it also sticks out too much, but the base material used was 3x5 3/16 wall steel tube, and 1/4" steel plate!!! (Again,). Way overbuilt, and stinkin heavy. RJ at Hyline wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. He made me an aluminum louvered filler piece for underneath the bumper to protect the radiator. Sooo??

Theres no way in hell i'd get near that contraption Ken..

Hammered, that does look good.

H8.. you should stop in. ;) These rounds i have are pretty knotty, making it real tough to split. Started cutting them with saw this am.. spitting out spaghetti cutting along the grain. The junk wood gets burned in the firepit.

Cut rounds and split 3 cords yesterday with a bunch of "helpers" that couldn't hit the ground with an axe if they were laying down

Built a swing set, hung my redsox flag, swapped out the o2 sensors on the pilot and about to get gas for the BBQ in an hour

Busy day

Tuned up the carb a bit, fixed and bypassed a bunch of FUBAR electrical stuff, starts from the key now, and half the brakes work. It drives pretty nice now.

maybe later :eyes:

don't want to blow up my half-a-dana-35

Its a shame that so much of the insanity that goes on at your house is not captured on film. I'm so disappointed in your videos because I've witness pure chaos that should have been posted to youtube.

You may recognize the shed. And the torch bearer. I only lost a little hair off my fingers.

I wonder if the video is still available...
