Heres what I did today...

Just broke two sheets **** this, still gonna sit upstairs and drink beer and randomly spin the drill so the wife thinks I'm still going

You make me smile.

Fixed my unibody, now all I have to do is slap a bumper together, then bolt all the shit back in and I'm wheeling again!

Looks good!

Looking at that motor mount... whose product is that? As pirate would say, that shit needs more triangulation. Hell, it's already sagging from the look of it.

Ironman 4x4, they're ****ing junk. Nobody makes an HD mount for 4.0 ZJ's, but he made a run of 10 of them, and I grabbed a set. It turned out to be a nightmare. It took months to get them, then they didn't fit. I had to grind out the holes on the driver's side, and the passenger's side wouldn't have fit no matter what I did. Apparently 6 or 7 out of the 10 people had similar issues. He claims it was because 5 different plants produced the ZJ, and they all had slight variances. I call BS, I've never had a problem with the OEM style mounts fitting, what's their secret? He sent me another new passenger's side, after waiting another 4 or more months, but I still haven't installed it. On top of the fact the products were poorly made, didn't fit well and took forever to get, the guy was a pain in the ass to deal with, if you could even get him to respond. I definitely don't recommend them, or any of their products.

wow... now that's some sewer dweller behavior right there.

That probably took you like five minutes, and you were being such a baby about it.:yelclap:

It took me a good part of the day actually, it's cold and I was working slow. I was being a little bitch about it though, no doubt about that. I just can't wait for some other part of this piece of shit unibody to crumble.

I went to go make a spare driveshaft today. My hands got cold so I decided I don't need a spare and left.

I love that stuff... foamed gypsum sheetrocks my world.

THE WEIGHT HAS BEEN LIFTED!

I love that it says that!

at least it's cheap stuff, dunno what 12 footers cost you but I think HD gets me for 8 bucks a sheet on 8 foot 1/2" ultralight. Makes it hurt a little less when I screw up and measure from the wrong edge of the panel for an outlet box hole :banghead:

you pre cut your boxes? just mark the centers and router that shib out.

I precut everything because I end up hanging rock alone usually and I'm a damn perfectionist when it comes to alignment/box cutouts.

thats my point. you put the board up put 2-3 screws in it and trace the box with the router. you cant get any more perfect.

thanks for the tip, i was just going to measure and pre-cut and i am the worlds worst measurer, swear my tape is out to get me

i have the ultra light boards which i can lift by myself but while lifting one side to get my hand under the middle, the opposite corner gives out and makes about 3ft of it unusable....so I'm still up 1 ft on an 8 footer, wife stopped up to "help", basically wearing a snowsuit and realized that at 5'5 she couldn't help, posted photos to facebook and left me alone

Get a 2x4 and make it into a T. She can then hold the board up on one side without a ladder or bench.

I do most days with my son..
Last night the wife and I decided to clear out an unused guest room (heavy bed/furniture set) and set up a playroom for my son. Since he just turned 1 last week, we had a bunch of new toys crowding our living room. Now he's got his own little clubhouse.

Also, I play Mega Blocks with Liam at least once a day.

come on megablocks?:puke:

Family guy:
Peter: You got Legos? Aw, sweet! Lois only buys me Mega Bloks.
Lois: They're the same thing, Peter.
Peter: You know what, Lois? They are not the same thing. And the sooner you get that through your thick skull, the sooner we can get this marriage back on track.

hahahah when he's older he'll get legos. But since he's 1 and tries to eat everything, Mega Blocks are it.
