help with cage in central mi.??????

I had a guy that was gonna help me (can still borrow his bender probably), But dont wanna go at it alone (no experience). I wanna do an internal cage. I am in the process of having a baby as we speak and i wanna put him back there and not worry!!!

I will supply the tubing, i really wanna be involved, i have some welding experience (built bumpers). I can pay for welding gas and wire, and beverages of your choice for the day and lunch.

Just wanna get this done as soon as possible. I am gonna be buying the tube with the money i get from the tires im selling.

I already know what i wanna do with the cage so no need to try and reinvent the wheel with this. just wanna be safe!!!!

thats a long hike for a weekend. Plus he has to make a living when he does stuff like that, im just looking to make a new friend or two as close as possible to me with some experience and also get my hands dirty in building it mostly by myself

But you mentioned safety twice, a cage is not where you want to "learn".

Hey Kman,

It is unlikely that you find someone to help you do this cage that you do not already know; there are a lot of man hours invloved. But, best of luck trying.

And like Rev said, a cage is not the place to learn fabrication and welding on your Jeep. A poorly designed/built cage can injure or kill you.

right i know the safety issues for sure. i am confident in the strength of my welds.

Considering a pre bent cage. i am gonna pm brian and see if what he says thanks rev
