Are you any good with painting interior trim? I have a bathroom project that need finished BEFORE I'm allowed to even think of wrenchin' on my rig......

I could hang a few pics of my rig's modifications in the room so you could "learn" while painting......

:laugh3:

Bathroom trim I will do as long as I get to choose the color... ;)

Hmmm Post holes.........If I get to drive a big tractor will a large drill on it I am there!

Only thing grounding me right now is $$$$.I did rip my front bumper off last Saturday trying to winch some poor bastid in a full-size Bronco out of the mud at Brush Hollow. He had it buried to the rockers and my stock bumper brackets pretty much split in half(the welds held though)... so I get to make new brackets--much stronger ones.

Jeezus, who are you..... sound like my wife! :laugh3:

I just can't friggin' stand home improvement. I'll take any auto related project, but home stuff sux. I'm to the point of having to paint trim and install fixtures - in the home stretch so to speak - but I can't stand painting trim. Especially since we're painting the wood stain door jambs and stuff.... usually takes 2-3 coats.... tedious crap.

There, bitch switch off.....

I had the oak for the new dining room table "curing" in the garage for 3 years before it was seasoned well enough to make that table. By that time, the chairs I made needed to be upholstered again. :laugh3:

What areas about an XJ are you interested in learning about. I am trying to finish up a body swap. I am working on the interior swap right now. That means down to swapping the dash, steering column, seats and the works. The engine compartment is cleaned out other than the engine. I am putting in the wiring and all accessories as well as reinstalling the front clip. I am setting up the gears for the front HP44 and fabing the radius arms and mounts.

That all looks like about three days of work. :)
