When I did my pan gasket I was a little too impatient with the rtv (had to get the entire job done in an hour and go to work) had the pan off in 5 minutes, cleaned up another 5, rtv 30 minutes, tried install, gasket slipped around and lost rtv bond... ended up getting floss and tying the gasket to the pan on every other hole. Its still all on there, no leaks and over a year later.
