Identify bolt holes on driver side engine

My 1998 XJ is on the lift right now and I just went out to look at it. I wish I could post pictures, but I can't. All of the bolt holes iyou have pictured go un-used with the exception of one. In your first photo, the bolt hole to the right of the bracket uses a wire holder. A loose wire clamp held on with a bolt that the upstream oxygen sensor wiring passes through.

Awesome, thanks. I figured most were unused. Good to know that the Oxygen sensor goes into one bolt. Hopefully I labeled that in on the sensor. Will go double check.

I'm still curious about the unused ones.

Who knows what those bolt holes might be used for in other applications. This motor was produced for various markets in different applications (left and right hand drive) for many, many years.
