Help me with some 3 link questions

What size are they? Do you run a smaller upper? I'm just wondering what I should do here since everything I've read says there's a lot of stress on the upper in a 3 link, but the HDO bracket is set up for a smaller upper joint! than the Barnes.

I run the big joint all around. Brain ran that kit on his xj he had in Harlan last year I think it was. PM him he a good guy and I'm sure will answer any questions you have.

Do the 1.25" heims. Ive seen 3400# buggies bend the 7/8 heim shanks. My wife's jeep is built with 1.25" heims in the lowers and 3/4" in the upper. I would do it again that way in a heartbeat

My front 3 link and rear 4 link uppers are all 1.25"OD 3/8 wall drilled and tapped for 3/4 hiems. Works great.

It sucks getting old and staying stressed out all the time.....I don't even remember to read back through my own threads lol

Thanks. I think I'll just stop over thinking it and just order the Barnes kit
